On January 14th on the road, the Raiders were edged by the Phoenix, 57-56, in Horizon play. This one looked good at halftime, and Wright State was up 30-22. However, nothing went right in the second half, and Green Bay closed it out.

A couple facts played into this pairing. Last year, Wright State was 3-0 against Green Bay. Over four years, the Raiders stand at 6-4, and at Resch Center, they're 1-4. Since 1980, the Wright State record against Green Bay is 22-23.

Green Bay got the upper hand on Wright State with overpowering free throw shooting and also by winning defensive rebounding.

Green Bay got many more defensive rebounds which created more possession opportunities, 23 to 18. The Phoenix hit 26 of their free throws compared to five for the Raiders.

Julius Mays did his best to keep the Raiders in it with 15 points in 36 minutes.
